Stimulus Generation Software

The ASL Stimulus Generation Software allows a user to create an event script that commands graphic elements (and/or text) to appear at certain places for certain amounts of time.
These elements can be scripted to appear and disappear either according to a timed sequence or when a point of gaze from the eye tracker is within some specified boundaries.
In other words, events can be gaze dependent. The graphic elements can be selected from a library of different symbols included with the program or from user supplied bit maps. In addition to performing gaze contingent of timed events, the program can be told to send codes back to the eye tracker (“XDAT” values) which correspond to each event and which will be recorded by the eye tracker interface program along with point of gaze data.
When analyzing recorded point of gaze data, these external data values will indicate when the various display events occurred.
